Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration will be held at South on May 7th. This is a change from the previously announced date. Please make a note.

Spelling Bee

After 25 rounds of spelling, South Newton's spelling bee champion is Kwanterius Mack. Second place: Egypt DeLoach; Third place: Isaac Oesterling; Fourth place: Shaleah Xiong; Fifth place: Tailand Stewart. These five students will represent South Newton Elementary at the district spelling bee on January 27th. Congratulations to South Newton's oustanding spellers!!!

Our IC team received 3 awards from the Department of Public Instruction on Wednesday, September 30. The purpose of our Instructional Consultative Team is to work together with classroom teachers to improve our instructional practices so that we can reach every student and help them be successful.
